It’s November 1st, which marks National Entrepreneurship Month. It is an annual event in November that celebrates innovators, job creators and risk-takers. It’s a time to recognize their contributions to our economy and society.
This month is an opportunity for us all to celebrate the power of entrepreneurship, worldwide!
I held my highly anticipated Ultimate Mompreneuur Brunch Event on October 2nd, 2022. The event was sold out and highly successful. It filled my heart with joy to see other mompreneurs having fun, networking and sharing about their experiences.
In the context of business, Innovation is a process by which a domain, a product, or a service is renewed and brought up to date by applying new processes, introducing new techniques, or establishing successful ideas to create new value.
Think back to the beginning of 2020. Like most mompreneurs, you started the new year with many goals and high optimism. What goals did you set? Maybe 2020 was the year you were going to lose weight, grow your business, set boundaries, practice self care, meet someone or improve your parenting.
I’m sure we have all experienced what 2020 had to offer. For some of us, it was challenging. For others, it was rigged with opportunities. Most of the business owners who thrived through this unexpected pandemic were the ones who planned and who had strategy in place.
At the beginning of 2020, as a Mompreneur, you most likely had plans that were a result of decisions. These decisions were meant to lead you on the path towards achieving your vision.
You can think of it in this way. Life is like a road. There are long and short roads; smooth and rocky roads; crooked and straight paths. In our life many roads would come our way. There are roads to happiness as there are roads to sadness, roads towards victory and jubilation, and roads leading to defeat and disappointment.
Are you working towards becoming a better leader as a Mompreneur in 2021? I want to share some of the strategies I have learned that helped me to go to another level as a leader throughout 2020. We will look at the approach that successful leaders who are women take in order to create, maintain, and nurture positive relationships, and how to identify the type of leader you are.
While many mompreneurs experience self-doubt and fear at some point in their lives, they take action anyway. Others remain stuck, or are confident in only one area of their life, such as work. They are too afraid to try new things like going back to school, entering new relationships or learning new skills.
I remember when I first started learning about what it took to become successful, and began studying the people who were a success. One of the first things I noticed was that successful mompreneurs often started out just like any other normal person.
