The global pandemic has shifted the way we view working from home. If you have a day job, there are now more benefits for both you and the company you work for. By working from home, you can cut down on commuting time and distractions and get more accomplished in the comfort of your own home. But there are some important measures you will have to put in place. If you are a mompreneur who already works from home, you would already be aware of some of those measures that help to boost your productivity.
How I Structured Distance Learning For 4 Children (While Going To School Myself) Without A Mental Breakdown
For the past few months, parents have been doing distance learning because of the COVID 19 pandemic. Schools were closed abruptly in March 2020 and classes around the world gradually made the move towards distance learning from August 2020.
For many years, I started off my day by reviewing my To-Do list that I wrote the night before. There would be at least 10 – 15 items that I would complete within the 15 hours I am awake. AND would do them all while being a mom of 4 children (who are now all homeschooled), wife, student, entrepreneur, not to mention holding down my day job!
Here is the BTS of how I recently updated my home office.
Me: “Oh my gosh! This place is so messy!”
Proceeds to pick up toys, fix cushions, wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, febreze couches, make beds, clean bathroom, put clothes in baskets………..drops into my bed!
Me: “I’m so tired! You all don’t do anything to help me!”
Sound familiar? I’m sure it does!
